We are seeking an experienced Events Manager to plan and execute field-based events including roadshows, seminars, meetings, networking activities, workshops, webinars, and tradeshows. The ideal candidate will work with event sponsors such as the global marketing team, product marketing, executives, and sales to understand requirements and objectives for each event and identify key stakeholders.
Responsibilities
+ Plan and execute field-based events including roadshows, seminars, meetings, networking activities, workshops, webinars, and tradeshows.
+ Collaborate with event sponsors to understand requirements and objectives for each event and identify key stakeholders.
+ Develop effective relationships with industry associations, meeting vendors, exhibition partners, and suppliers to deliver ROI on marketing event investments.
+ Manage event logistics including contract negotiations, production of attendee materials, sponsorship deliverables, exhibit orders, budget tracking, catering and AV, onsite execution, and post-event follow-up.
+ Ensure proper lead capture at events and transfer of leads to Digital Marketing for lead clean-up and upload to CRM.
+ Manage the events calendar and communicate regularly on event objectives, agenda, and important actions from pre-event through program execution and measurement.
+ Work closely with various sales & marketing teams to drive successful customer engagement and market awareness.
+ Collaborate with the manager to build a scalable events strategy including service level agreements, guidelines, checklists, and playbooks for routine events.
+ Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
Essential Skills
+ 8+ years of event planning experience.
+ Experience in life sciences or adjacent fields.
+ Proficiency in logistics coordination and vendor communication.
+ Strong understanding of tradeshow management.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in the healthcare, biotech, or pharmaceutical industries.
Work Environment
This is a hybrid role requiring four days in the office, with flexible options for three days in the office if the candidate lives nearby. The position involves collaboration with various teams and may require up to 25% travel.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $67.00/hr.
