This is an onsite role at our Shakopee, MN facility. Local candidates will be given priority.
What You’ll Do
Support process engineers in developing and validating new production processes
Run feasibility tests and qualify production equipment
Collaborate on brainstorming and design reviews for new processes with the engineering team
Provide feedback on equipment design for functionality and ease of maintenance
Work with the engineering team on performance improvements in safety, yield, cost, and capacity
Execute trials to validate processes and document results using Excel
Partner with operators and the team lead to implement process and safety enhancements
Assist in equipment installation, maintenance, and repair
Help develop training materials and support operator training globally
Contribute to product qualification and launch activities
What You Bring (Minimum Requirements)
High school diploma with 8+ years of relevant experience
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project)
Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and urgency
Willingness to travel to global production sites
Currently live within commutable distance of our Shakopee, MN facility
Bonus Points If You Have
Experience in fiber optic termination and splicing
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
Background in new process development
A positive mindset and passion for automation
Hands-on experience in a production environment
Our salary ranges take into account a wide variety of factors, including but not limited to benchmarking by independent third-party consultants, skill sets, years of experience, training, education, geography, and other business requirements. Depending on experience, the range can be higher for candidates with exceptional experience and a proven track record of successful performance. The expected salary range for this position is $63,800 - $78,200.
You will be rewarded with a comprehensive benefits package, including, medical, dental, and vision plans, life and accidental death insurance, a 401(k) plan, and participation in the Company’s Incentive Plan. Candidates starting with the Company will be eligible for eleven paid holidays in a full calendar year, paid vacation (prorated based on start date), as well as other leave options.
