St. Joseph Hospice in New Orleans, LA is hiring an Intake/Authorization Coordinator LPN!

Essential duties include:

• Manage all aspects of the patient intake process including establishing and maintaining positive relationships with customers and referral sources
• Respond to customer requests and concerns
• Manage the insurance verification and authorization process
• Organize work and complete assignments in a timely manner
• Schedule patient visits and follow up on patient issues and MD orders

Qualifications:

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Louisiana
• Hospice experience required
• Strong Hospice experience in order to supply support in qualifying appropriate patient during intake process
• Professional behavior to have clinically supportive conversations with patients and families to create an ease in the hospice admission process
