Job Overview:

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated & experienced Certified Lactation Consultant for a Per Diem position at CMC.

Community Medical Center, is a 592-bed, fully accredited acute care hospital offering area residents world-class medical treatment with the comforts of hometown care. Opened in 1961, CMC has evolved into the state s newest teaching hospital with four residency programs and Ocean County s largest and most active health care facility caring for over 21,500 inpatients, 178,000 outpatients and 73,700 emergency department patients each year.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Lactation Consultant Certification
• Diploma/Degree
• NJ RN License & RN degree if RN
• Current Lactation Consultant experience
• BLS (American Heart Association)

Scheduling Requirements :

• Flexibility to meet the needs of the department

Essential Functions:

• The Lactation Consultant supports our Staff, Mother s and Infants with Breastfeeding and Education on our Mother Baby Unit and Special Care Nursery.
