**Job Title: Mig Welder - Site Installation** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Mig Welder with experience in joist reinforcement and seismic upgrades. The role involves working with 1/8th inch welds using a wire-fed process, specifically dual shield wire, to meet seismic grade requirements. While certification is preferred, candidates familiar with these processes are welcome to apply. This position offers the opportunity to work on various sites, beginning at Sam's Club in San Bernardino for four weeks, followed by assignments in Chino and Corona. The business has been operational for 15 years and provides a stable work environment. **Responsibilities** + Perform joist reinforcement and seismic upgrades using Mig welding techniques. + Execute 1/8th inch welds with precision, ensuring adherence to seismic grade standards. + Utilize a wire-fed process, specifically dual shield wire, for all welding tasks. + Operate scissor lifts to reach work areas up to 15-20 feet high, ensuring safety at all times. + Maintain a clean and organized work environment while managing equipment and tools. + Collaborate with team members to ensure project goals are met efficiently. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in Mig welding, specifically with 1/8th inch welds. + Experience with wire-fed processes and dual shield wire. + Ability to work on seismic upgrades and reinforcement projects. + Certification in seismic welding is a plus. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Comfortable operating scissor lifts up to 20 feet. + Experience with PPE and welding hoods is preferred. + Flexible with work hours and site locations. **Why Work Here?** Join a reputable company with a 15-year history in the welding industry. The initial site is Sam's Club in San Bernardino, followed by projects in Chino and Corona. All work is conducted in a center work area, ensuring safety and efficiency. While personal tools and PPE are preferred, the company can provide necessary equipment if needed. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of San Bernardino, California. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
