Nurse Manager – Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) – Night Shift

Location: Houston, TX
Schedule: Full-time | 3:30 PM – 11:00 PM | Night Shift | Weekend Rotation & On-Call
Salary Range: $40.00 – $58.00/hr (based on experience)
Sign-On Bonus: Case-by-case basis
Relocation Assistance: Case-by-case basis

Job Description

  • Provide leadership and clinical guidance for a high-acuity Neonatal Intensive Care Unit

  • Support and collaborate with nursing staff to deliver safe, high-quality neonatal care

  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, nursing standards, and regulatory requirements

  • Assist the Director in planning, coordinating, and evaluating departmental functions

  • Lead performance improvement initiatives focused on clinical outcomes and patient safety

  • Participate in staffing, budgeting, and development of care protocols

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2+ years of recent acute care NICU leadership experience (Manager or Charge RN level)

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required

  • Active Texas RN license or Compact License (must convert to Texas license within 60 days of hire)

  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association required

  • Strong understanding of Level III or IV NICU protocols and patient population
