Looking for a full time optometrist to join a growing ophthalmology practice. Their Roswell clinic is currently supported by an Optometrist, and retina specialists who rotate through the clinic. Extensive patient base will promptly allow for a busy practice. Eligible for partnership consideration after the second year of employment. The practice is looking for a candidate who has great clinical skills as they will be assisting in managing medical eye conditions and pre and post op care for cataract patients. This position comes with an extremely lucrative salary. Roswell is a garden spot with tree-filled parks, tennis courts, playgrounds, three golf courses, a city zoo and miles of walking and biking paths. Area attractions include Ski Apache, the state's second largest snow ski area, and Ruidoso Downs horse race track. Other nearby attractions include the Bottomless Lakes State Park, Carlsbad Caverns National Park and White Sands National Monument. Roswell is the economic hub of southeastern New Mexico and has a city population of 50,000 but a draw area of 300,000. The community has been very welcoming and appreciative of this group having a presence there because it allows them to receive care right in their own community instead of traveling long distances.
