We're on a journey to build something new! The Amazon Autos team is building new discovery and shopping products that connect customers with their new vehicle of choice. We’re developing new customer experiences and seller tools to support the entire vehicle discovery journey.

We are seeking a Sr. Feature Release Manager to sit within our Seller Experience Team to be responsible for testing and launching new dealer facing features. This role requires the ability to work cross functionally across workstreams and own the scale-up plans of new features. This role will be responsible for increasing adoption and usage of new seller facing poducts and Go-to-Market (GTM) programs for Amazon Autos. You will own launch plans for seller features and drive operational excellence at scale. You will plan pilots and handle positioning, participation, acceptance criteria, operations readiness, and messaging in partnership with product owners. This role will work directly with key stakeholders including sellers, technical program managers, product teams, and senior leadership to ensure features meet dealership acceptance criteria so that they can provide great purchase experience for our customers.

Key job responsibilities

* Launch Planning: Collaborate with Product Managers, Seller Experience, and Tech teams to identify and group features for testing, determine dealer locations, and establish acceptance criteria. Manage the release rollout plan and launch progression to scale feature sets to new sellers over time.
* Go-to-Market (GTM): Manage cross-functional release timelines, ensuring timely communication with internal and external partners. Develop GTM success criteria. Partner to develop comprehensive feature launch plans, including training and communications.
* Analyze Results: Build data-based mechanisms around feedback, survey results, and metrics captured during rollout. Flag issues to internal teams and product owners while seeking customer-centric solutions to problems.
* Program Management: Manage complex workback plans and leadership facing status updates.
* Seller Requirements: Solicit regular feedback from dealers regarding feature functionality and usability. Use input to define seller-specific requirements for testing and evaluation.
* Prioritization: Engage with internal and external global stakeholders to understand market priorities, manage multiple projects concurrently, and drive cross-team initiatives. Influence the product roadmap based on seller preferences.

A day in the life
This role will play a critical part in ensuring both dealerships and our internal teams are prepared for new features to be released. They will manage insight dashboards which provide feedback on feature performance, and program manage all aspects of seller readiness for new features. They will work with communications teams throughout the feature release lifecycle to ensure dealerships and customers are informed of updates while flagging any known issues to product teams.

About the team
We are a newly formed team with a vision to create innovative discovery and shopping experiences on Amazon, providing customers better convenience and more selection.
