What You'll Do As A Welder:

• Weld components using MIG and/or TIG welding processes with attention to strength, appearance, and accuracy.
• Work with various metals, including carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
• Read & interpret shop drawings to ensure precise weld assembly.
• Inspect & measure completed welds to confirm alignment with quality standards.
• Collaborate with fabricators, area leaders, and project teams to stay on schedule and meet deadlines.
• Follow lean manufacturing practices to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area.
• Receive & apply on-the-job training to build and expand welding skills.
• Full-time hours from 5:45 AM to 4:30 PM

What We're Looking For In Our Ideal Welder:

• Experienced: 2+ years of MIG or TIG welding experience preferred; we will provide on-the-job training to qualified entry-level candidates.
• Detailed: Maintains high standards of craftsmanship with strong, clean welds and close attention to detail on every project.
• Collaborative: Communicates clearly and contributes to a positive, team-oriented environment built on respect and shared success.
• Growth-oriented: Invested in developing trade skills through hands-on training, feedback, and various custom metal fabrication work.
• Aligned: Reflects Metalum's humility, service, and integrity values and supports the mission to meet client needs through collaboration and innovation.
• Must have steel-toed shoes
