Love of Grace Residential Services in Kenosha, WI are looking for a Full-time resident care staff, part-time every other weekend and also a floater to join our team. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, punctual, hard-working, coachable and able to work with girls ages 12-17 in a group home setting.

We are looking for people to work the following hours:

• Part - time = 7a - 7p Saturday and Sunday or 7p - 7a Friday and Saturdays every other weekend and availability to fill in as open shifts arise.
• Floater = Availability to pick-up shifts when they arise during the day or night shift during the week or on the weekends.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the day to day running of facility during assigned hours 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Making sure residents are well taken care of in a safe environment, enforces rules and behavior management and safety plans in place. Escorting/transporting whenever duty arises. Keeps count of residents throughout day, logging movement as well as controlling security of facilities. Facilitates recreation and assists with homework as needed. Assisting/prepare meals and snacks . Makes sure all residents have appropriate necessities for everyday living. Discourages runaways, unauthorized absences and entries into facility. Makes sure atmosphere is the least restrictive, child-friendly, nurturing normal setting for all ages and cultural backgrounds. Teaches life skills. Maintains reporting to manager, documents during emergencies and or disciplining as well supervises any volunteers.

Qualifications

• Age 24+ years,
• 4-year degree in specified fields or Certification as a child and youth care worker.
• 1 year experience in youth group home setting or similar
• Must have valid driver’s license.
