About the Position

Ensemble Music Schools is seeking a fun, experienced, and professional voice teacher to teach part-time at Schaumburg Music Academy, our Schaumburg, IL location. We are looking for teachers who will instruct IN PERSON! Preference will be given to teachers with availability on Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday. 

Teachers can set their availability within our open hours as needed, but both students and school staff appreciate consistency and preference will be given to candidates with greater availability.

Successful candidates will have a strong music background evidenced by a degree in music performance, pedagogy, or equivalent performing experience, a demonstrated love of teaching, experience working with young musicians, a robust appreciation for punctuality, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass a routine background check.

Instructor pay is commensurate with experience and will be in the range of $27-30/hour. A 401(K) program with employer matching is available to all of our employees after 90 days on the job.

This posting is for Schaumburg Music Academy, our Schaumburg, IL location. Founded in 1973, we pride ourselves on providing fun, personalized, and professional music education to students of all skill levels in a positive and welcoming environment. We teach voice, piano, violin, guitar, drums, and a handful of other instruments, and maintain an enrollment of over 200 weekly students.
